Why are you giving prizes away? What is in it for wabbadabba.com? Like all search engines we earn money from people using the site. We figured if we make money from people like you using a search engine, surely you deserve something in return. Or to put it more simply, the more you use us, the more we can afford to give prizes away! Do I have to sign up to play? No. In order to use wabbadabba you do not need to register, sign up, join, enlist, commit, enroll or attach yourself in anyway to wabbadabba. However in order to claim your prize, and invite mates to join we will need a few details. We did try standing on the street corner shouting “..will the winner of the plasma TV make themselves known?”, but it did not really seem to work; so we have decided to ask for some contact details from winners instead. What is the catch? There isn’t one – honestly. We know it seems strange, there always seems to be a catch with most things. You do not have to register to win; all you need to do is search as you would do with any other search engine.There are some rules we follow, but they do not stop you from winning. We limit each household to 3 prizes a month, so that everyone gets a chance of winning. Oh and if you work for us – I’m afraid you can't win…(sorry guys…) Will my friends really win the same prize as me if I have signed up as their wabbadabba friend? Yes. Not sure what else to say really. If you invite someone to join wabbadabba.com and they sign up and win – you win the same prize. How good are the results that wabbadabba.com produces? Hard for us to answer that really, but all the search results are provided to us by Yahoo who produce great search results – we like ‘em. So how do you make money? Ah… now that’s a secret, well not really, we receive money from the search result providers….it's that simple. What happens after I sign up? Nothing really, but it does mean that you can increase your chance of winning by inviting friends, claim any prizes you have won, or just feel smug about having a wabbadabba account! Does wabbadabba use pop up’s ? No – Pop up’s suck…so we don’t use them I have not received my activation code, what should I do? The first thing to do is to check your “junk mail” folder, especially if you have registered using a hotmail account as hotmail seems not to like wabbadabba. Also it is worth doing this as if you win most of the prizes are sent out via email. If you can still not find your code, use the contact us page to drop us a line. If I sign up are you going to send me lots of unwanted emails? No, we hate spam as much as you, we may send you the occasional email about changes or updates to wabbadabba, if you do not want to receive those you can use the unsubscribe link in any of the emails. If we come across something that we think is to good to miss, we might drop you a line about it, but again – you can opt out of receiving any emails by using the unsubscribe link. Where did the name wabbadabba come from? The name wabbadabba came from one of the team members here at wabbadabba. We were trying to come up with a name for the site and as joke he said “why not wabbadabba?” and we thought, yes why not… it is a great name, so that’s not really a very exciting story – but we like the name. At first it did cause a few arguments as to how we should spell the name, Wabba dabba, or wabadaba, or waba daba, or wabadabba, or wabbadaba, or wabdab or wabber dabber (that’s my funny favourite!) but in the end we went for wabbadabba.
